Dr. Vidyasagar Potdar received the B.S. degree in Science from St. Xavier's College of Science & Arts, Gujarat University, India, in 2001, the M.S. degree in Software Engineering from University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in information systems from Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia, in 2006. He was an Associate Lecturer during 2003-2006 in the School of Information Systems at Curtin Business School in Curtin University of Technology. He is currently a Research Fellow in the Digital Ecosystems and Business Intelligence (DEBI) Institute at Curtin Business School. He has recently started his blog on social software.  
He regularly reviews several International Journals including IEEE Transactions on Information Security and Forensics, Journal of Systems and Software, International Journal of Informatics and Computer Science Intelligent Systems Applications, International Journal on Computers and Electrical Engineering, International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing, Journal of Systems Architecture. He has acted as organiser and chair of the special session of a several IEEE international conferences and also served as member of the international program committee for several international conferences. His research interests include information security, RFID security, steganography, watermarking, open source software development and semantic image retrieval.
